Hilton HHonors - Rates not displaying properly on hilton.com
when i do a search on hilton.com for a booking, i get the list of hotels but none of them display a price....it only displays whether a particular property is available or not....if i click on the individual property then it gives me the price....sometimes i may even get a price on the first search but if i click the option of displaying by distance then the prices vanish again....i've been having this problem now for a few days & was wondering if anyone else is facing a similar issue....

I've seen this off and on as well.
Even if it does show a price, I've discovered that it pays to check the rates anyway. The prices listed are for the first night only. Sometimes there are dramatic drops or increases for the remaining nights, and you don't see that until you click through and check the totals. A real pain.
that's kind of a relief....i was starting to think i was the only one having this problem....its a real pain in the a@*.......

I found it seems to happen more often if you choose only one HH brand for pricing. Try adding another HH brand and search.

doesn't make a difference for me....i always choose 'all hilton properties' in all my searches....sometimes it won't give me a price for any hotel, sometimes it will not list the prices for the hilton brand & sometimes it will only display the prices for the hilton brand & not the other brands....even if i choose only one brand it still just lists the hotels & not the prices....

There have been a few threads about it over the years, it comes and goes. I've even seen them disappear and reappear by refreshing.
It's not just you.

Up until about 2 days ago the individual hotel rates were showing up when I did a search, but since then all that shows up is "available" and you're right, it is a pain when you have to go clicking on each and every hotel to see what rates are available.

I no sooner posted the above, did another Hilton search, and Viola! the rates are now showing up again. Maybe that feature was temporarily 'down for maintenance' or something similar?

Even when searching for a 1-night stay, even if it does show a price, I've discovered that it pays to check rhe rates anyway! The prices listed are pulled from only some rates, not necessarily including AAA or AARP (if you have the number for either of these), and also not necessarily including hotel special rates (sometimes drastically lower like the "hot summer nights" rate at HGI Rancho Mirage/Palm Springs).
At best, it only gives you a good guess at the price range, so that you can perhaps know which hotels to start clicking through on first. But I've found that the cheapest one listed, when others are near that, won't actually always be the cheapest one once I get all the rates I can use with the click-through.

This keeps happening to me. It's VERY annoying.
For example; looking to stay a week in St. Louis in the coming month. Need to respect the client's per diem allowance but want to stay in a nice property. I have to click through each of Hilton's properties individually all the way to the end reservation process. Unacceptable.
Thankfully Marriott's properties are nice DT STL anyway. No more monkey-ing around with HH's temperamental website!

I've had this happen to me a couple of times in the past few weeks. if I click "search again" on the "change your search" section in the left column, the rates will then (usually) appear when it refreshes.

On expedia.com, travelocity.com, marriott.com, kayak.com etc you always get rates.
