National - How long for free days to appear?

I am a executive elite, which I believe gives me one free day for every 5 days of rental. I had one on my account a recently went to Boston and rented for 5 days. I still have one on my account. Anyone know how long it takes to post?

You earn one free day for every 5 rental credits not rental days (which 1 is "issued" for every 4 days of a rental - so your 5 day rental would have earned 2 rental credits). Generally, the rental credit (and converted to free days) post "immediately", so I'm quite sure that you are still 1 or more rental credits away from earning the next free day.

I think they're having problems with their computer system; I still have a trip from over 2 weeks ago for which the rental credits have not been posted yet.

Is there a counter somewhere, or is this another thing you have to call for?

No counter - unless you can decipher the rental history page - otherwise you have to call.

Actually, a 5 day rental only earns one rental credit. Need 8 days to get 2 rental credits and 12 days for 3 and so on. That's how they get you b/c many people rent a week and there's a weekly rate but that only gets you 1 credit.

And yes there' still something messed up with the system. Took my friend 3 days to get her rental credit to post. And they removed another friend's Exec. status (and dropped him down to Emerald Club) for a few days and then put it back.
