If you're in Korea, and you can get help from someone fluent in Korean, there's a website that you can swap points just like points.com: www.pointpark.com (works well only under IE)

Here, you purchase points and transfer to your Asiana mileage. I have no idea about minimum transfer points or how long does it take to transfer, etc. It seems 1 mile requires 16.5 points which is only 16.5 won. But again, I'm not sure.

Sign up for the Standard Chartered point card, and spend 15,000W?

I think pointpark transfer is only for to Korean people cuz mileage transfer is based on Korean ID number, so no way for foreign people who don't have ID number.. :)

So, I recommend rent-a-car! it will give you 400miles with Hertz.. It will cost under 30$.. :)
