Since I'm a M&M SEN, I pick my vacations based on where Swiss & LH fly :P

From Dec 20-25th (yes, leaving on x-mas), my fiancee and I are looking to stay in Switzerland (anywhere, really) and our only criteria are

1) must have a hot tub
2) some sort of chalet-type experience

We don't ski, so we probably are better off in an area that isn't known for skiing.

Any suggestions from native Swiss or those who've done this? Obviously that week is pretty booked up already, so we're sort of scrambling!

Thanks in advance, fellow FT-ers!

Park Hyatt Zurich, Widder Hotel, The Dolder Grand.

Very expensive hotels to spend 5 days there that will cost you arm and leg.

Zurich down town lacks 5 stars hotels with decent prices.

I always stay in zurich marriott, alone or with my family. It is bit far from the city but still close to down town and the train station (max 10 minutes walking) and the rates are reasonable.

Try the executive rooms with access to the lounge, which offer all day snacks and free drinks and breakfast. Sorry no hot tubs :o

Do you want to go to the mountains? If you don't sky try Arosa! They have a lot of very nice promenades and and a bunch of hotels to chose from. But your dates are in the ultra high season and the prices are expensive and probably already sold out.
