All Nippon Airways Mileage Club - ANA 763 (767-300) questions

This will be my first time flying ANA on a codeshare with UA.

Piecing together information from the links in sticky. I found out I'm on ANA 2159 NRT - OKA and ANA 2158 on the way back.

I wasn't able to select my seats for the ANA flights through UA, but my itinerary shows I have seat 10D on the way there and 22E on the way back. Looking at the seatmap here http://www.ana.co.jp/dom/inflight/seatmap/b6s/index.html

1. It looks like 10D is in business class or did I pick the wrong seatmap? I booked a refundable ticket which might explain why I ended up there.

2. Looking at the same seatmap it shows 22E is a bulkhead seat, but there is an S in that seat as well. I can't read Japanese, so what does that S mean?

Yes you can, codeshare flight you have to ask UA to give you your NH PNR #, you can probably change from aisle to middle, but only within the few rows of seats, as UA only buying a block of rows.

It does look like you are on the right seat map as from the timetable, if you are on the domestic version of the 763, it would say 76P, and 76P config in Y would be AC DFG HK, instead of international 763 AB CDE FG.

Oh btw, although you are in premium class, but you are on the old version of international 763, it means you don't get a whole lot of legroom and recline compare to club ANA asia 763, there is no PTV either.

I just meant I couldn't change them through UA website. It looks like I have good seats on both the ANA flights so no need to change.

And I'm sure the premium cabin, will be better than sitting in E-, like I am for the 13 hours from ORD to NRT.

You can't change or choose seats period on UA website for flights not operated by UA.

It means the seat has extra legroom.
