Asiana Club - OZ - Whats the diff between 772/Q + 772/W?

I have been watching flights on FlightAware and I see that the 772/Q is the version that has been on the majority of ORD-ICN flights.
Is the difference between the Q/W the upgrade to full AVOD and only 4 rows in business?
I searched back a few pages and also tried to do a search but it didn't return anything so i apologize in advance if this has been covered.
Is there a peak or seasonal travel period for this route? I may be traveling to HKG via ICN later part of Feb '10 (was scheduled for Nov but other party I'm traveling couldn't make it). Are OZ flights getting full loads in Y or is there a possibility of getting some open seats scattered around?
Thanks

I don't know what is 772Q and 772W, as OZ does not even have a note for 2 class 777 and 3 class 777. All I know is ORD-ICN 235/236 is for certain a 3 class 777 with AVOD. Most sites only listed there is one version of OZ 777, the 2 class, as there is only one 3 class 777 out there specifically for ORD-ICN-ORD.
I don't know if there is a high or low season for this route, as even travel in January and February, F is empty as usual, but C and Y are almost 100% full, with a few seats here and there, certainly cannot move around. As not many people like to leave ORD at 1am, so they sell this flight much lower than other carriers, not just for people ending in ICN, also many Chinese to connect into other flights like PVG and HKG.

Thanks for the tip on ORD there.
Looks like I have 2 options for the same cheap price.
CLE-ORD-ICN-HKG (7 hr layover in ORD and arrive HKG at 11:45am)
CLE-SFO-ICN-HKG (nice connections and arrive at 10:30pm) Looks like SFO is the 772 lottery for an AVOD plane.
I am thinking the route through SFO would be better for getting your body back on schedule? I would arrive in HKG at 10:30pm, head to hotel and go right to bed. I have never traveled to Asia so I don't know how bad the 12 hr time change is going to mess with me. I do know that when I arrive at 6am in Europe my day is kinda miserable unless I grab a nap when I get there and it still is a rough day.
Thanks

You are flying Y I guess ?
7hr layover in ORD, not sure what you are going to do about it. I see that you are CO silver from your profile, unless you fly C, you can't go to the lounge even when CO becomes *A. After you arrive ICN, you still have another 3-4 hours depends on how early does the OZ flight arrives. I have done the flight and arrives at 5am. If you can't sleep it would be quite awful to wander around for another few hours for your connecting flight to HKG.
It really depends, for me, I can't sleep on plane period unless I am flying in F horizontal flat 180 degrees. Therefore I usually fly UA as they have day time flights, which leave around noon, by the time it get to HKG it will be late afternoon/evening, I am already tired can go home right to sleep, wake up next day, don't even have any jet lag at all. I usually avoid CX and SQ all together if I have to fly Y.
Some people can sleep on the plane even in Y, so even redeye flight they can sleep throughout, arrive in the morning can still be active rather than tired.

Yes, I would be flying Y. I can sleep a little in a Y seat but it is in no way quality sleep. So it sounds like the route through SFO may be the better way to go! Even if I get the older 777 without AVOD I still get 34" pitch, OZ service and evening arrival into HKG.
Plus I am not too excited to spend 7 hrs at ORD waiting for that 1am flight. Thats the connection Expedia is offering at that price :(
I would love to do CO out of EWR but I will not torture myself with those 31" pitch seats :td:

I had just posted in Chicago forum about how terrible about T5 for the OZ flight. T5 is new, but nothing compare to T1, T2, and T3 in ORD. All stores in T5 close at 10pm including the small food court with the exception of the duty free shop. ORD don't have that many late night flights compare to JFK, LAX and SFO. Other than the OZ flight leaves at 1am, there are a few other MX flights to mexico, so basically very few people around the airport at that time.
