Alitalia MilleMiglia - Did Alitalia offer 24 hours cooling period?

Just booked a ticket and I made a mistake on the date.

Did they offer 24 hours cooling period which I can cancel my booking like SAS?

Yep! It happened to me some months ago, after booking online at alitalia.it a OW with wrong O/D . I called to get the taxes refunded, but CS told me that in such a case they can void the ticket and refund the money at no charge. I got the refund credited to the CC in a very few days.
It was the standard customer service, not the CSs for elites.

You were lucky...last time I tried that was in February 2009 and they were very strict. I had to discuss quite long time before the lady told me "I will arrange that for you with a new supervisor...".
So, happy to see things have improved!
