Well, they cancelled my long-standing reservation with two days notice in April of this year (no explanation), and have not given me my money back. I've called (phone numbers don't work), e-mailed repeatedly (no response), and will now dig my feet in. If anyone has any experience or advice getting humans or any response from these thieves, I'd love to hear about it.

Did you use a credit card? I've never heard of this outfit.

Just challenge the charge on your credit card.
Never heard of them either. One reason why I rarely book travel on a website that I don't know something about.

+1. In fact, I never book on a website I don't know quite a bit about.
Anyone with a couple hundred dollars can create a slick website.

Thanks for the link and address; I'll try them, too.
My bank, Chase, is not at all helpful about this (a debit used as cc purchase). They issued a credit, then took it away! They have "no record" of receiving the first TWO faxed e-mail copies, or the forwarded e-mails from bookin (promising me a refund). I also had a Chase person's e-mail who has not answered a single e-mail I've sent her. Every time I talk to a human, they seem increasingly stupid (now, start from the beginning, including your account, cc, SS, and claim numbers, etc.). (When this is resolved, I might have to switch every account to a different institution.)
