Question:
I am flying on Asiana 203 to LAX and my wife is flying on UA to SFO this Sunday. I would like for her to join me at the Asiana F lounge before her flight. I know the two are in different terminals but will security allow her through to the Asiana side? Then when she makes her way to the UA gates is that an easy trek? How long should she expect? We will be checking our bags at a local office so luggage is not a concern. I thank you in advance for your replies.

OZ is at the main concourse and UA is at concourse A. OZ has F and C lounge in both concourse. You can go to the OZ lounge at main concouse with your wife. After that, there is escalator going downstairs to connect to the underground train to concourse A, someone will be checking boarding pass right there as if your flight is OZ, they will not let you proceed further. Once you get to concourse A, you cannot come back either.

I don't know if UA use the same gate at ICN, but the few times I have been there is always using gate 123, just go back up the escaluator when it get off the train and make a left, the gate is not too far from there.

Exactly... all passengers clear immigration and security in the main terminal, and then find themselves in the main concourse. Your wife should be able to join you in the F lounge, and then when her flight is ready to go she takes a train to Concourse A.

You cannot go there, and she will not be able to come back (unless a flight is cancelled or something)... the trains returning carry arriving passengers.
