Swiss International Airlines - Quick turn at MXP...can this be done?

Hi,

due to the double-statusmiles offer from Lufthansa I consider doing a two-day series of flights to make the required mileage to requalify for SEN. With that I have put together a plan that leaves me sleeping at home, yet requires a turn at MXP (to get on the same plane) of 35 minutes. I would arrive at 17:45 and leave back to ZRH at 18:20.

So: Does anybody have an idea if this is doable? While I have been to MXP before I always have arrived at a remote stand and with that inadvertedly had to go through the public area. As lines in MXP were not really moving very fast, I doubt that would be doable - yet if LX uses a Gate and I would be able to queue immediately after arriving, I would have no worries.

Whenever I flew to MXP on LX, I always had a remote stand. This said, back in the days of STC segment runs, I have done numerous same-aircraft turnarounds, and never had a problem. I usually told the cabin crew not to leave without me... ;)

It is risky but doable. To make sure that you don't miss your connection back to ZRH do in advance the return check-in.
