A friend is getting married on Friday after Thanksgiving in Seattle. I'd like to go up a few days early and visit Seattle. That means being there alone on Thanksgiving Day. Will any good restaurants be open? Will there be anything to do? I don't want to sit in a hotel room alone on Thanksgiving Day.

Googling "seattle thanksgiving dinner" yielded this (http://gonw.about.com/b/2008/10/31/seattle-restaurants-serving-thanksgiving-dinner.htm) blog entry from last year -it gives you an idea of where to look for dinner options, etc. in the Seattle area. No need to just stare at the 4 walls.

sounds like a great day for a mileage run :)

Otherwise, I'm sure there is an extra place at my Thanksgiving table. We always have strays, you'll fit right in :)
