Fairmont President's Club - Fairmont options in Boston?

Has anyone stayed at the Fairmont Battery Wharf Boston? Is the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston any better? I am looking to stay there mid-October. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you very much.

We stayed at the Copley Plaza back in April. We prefer the more "old school" places than modern. Very nice; we used an upgrade cert and got a great corner suite. Good location

I've recently stayed at both; Copley Plaza is the historic, grand, gold & crystal, glamor style Fairmont...very beautiful & in a great location (Freedom Trail starts right outside their main entrance). Battery Wharf is new, modern, on the water & in North Boston, which is a wonderful neighborhood for walking, with great shopping/dining options. Depends on what kind of experience you are looking for...both hotels have Gold Floor options too. Me, I'm going back in Oct & staying at the Wharf.

I tend to like the newer properties, when I stay at Copley/Vancouver I feel like I'm at my grandmas place so usually go for the newer property as long as the location still works

I enjoyed the Copley Plaza on Aug. 6, but the Battery Wharf has a Great Rate of $149which must be booked by Sept. 8!

Has anybody had luck booking a NFAF rate at either of these hotels in Mid-Oct? I am not seeing availability at either hotel with that rate. Thanks.

I have 2 stays booked at NFAF rate @Battery Wharf, both in Oct but it may depend on your travel dates.
