Amtrak Guest Rewards - How long to get the select kit once I qualify?

I qualified about a month ago. Do I only get the select kit in January, or should I be on the lookout for it now?

You should be on the lookout for it now. If I had to guess, it typically takes around two months for it to show up after you qualify.

However, some of the benefits take effect immediately, like the 25% bonus. Any trips that you take from that qualification date on will automatically get that point bonus.

I would still call. I didn't receive my kit when I qualified in late summer a couple of years ago. When I finally got around to calling, they said it was "too late" and did not receive a anything, except for the bonus (which is better than nothing).
