Anyone play at the Hard Rock poker room yet? The description is a bit weird on their website talking about bottle service and such at the tables. Is this a standard poker room? I see they have tourneys. I will be in Vegas in Sept and like to kill afternoon going to play 3/6 or 4/8 hold 'em. Do they play that at the HRH? Thanks

From All Vegas Poker (http://www.allvegaspoker.com/room_59.html)

The Hard Rock Poker Lounge is quite simply the most amazing poker room this reviewer has ever come across. It is evident from walking into the Poker Lounge that no expense was spared in putting together and designing this poker paradise. 18 tables, with 5 tables in privately railed back rooms, all with auto shufflers, an in room bar and smoking lounge, dedicated cocktail waitresses, players card tracking at the table, electronic list tracking, text messaging capabilities (to notify players of open seats), restrooms in the poker room, high hand jackpots (optional at 5/10NL and above), and a host of other amenities elevate this room into a class all by itself.

Played there in June - Thursday afternoon. It was DEAD. Two tables were winding up a tournament and then they opened up a table for us and eventually filled it up and a second 1/2NL game started. Very slow I thought.

Room is nice - modern. Waitress dressed in a skimpy outfit - the drinks were fast, being that there were so few of us and the bar is right there next to the poker room. I would call ahead to see what games they have and how many are playing to avoid playing like we did - I imagine evenings and weekends are hopping.
