I am on CX's DEL-BKK flight, in coach, booked with BA miles. I know this is a third party lounge, but can a OW Emerald cardholder still get in even if traveling in coach? Based on my reading of CX's webpage with lounge notes for DEL, the answer appears to be yes, but I'd like to check--this is my first-ever flight with CX. Thanks.

yes, i believe so. If you do have problems, you can quote what you have read on the cx website. Generally, HK knows their own CX policies and would let you in without hassle.

This would be in DEL, not HK. I think I'll print out the website and bring that with me. Since it is a 3rd party lounge and I'm not dealing with CX staff, especially in India where customer service is low on the agenda, I don't trust anyone to know any policies.

Yes - a OW Emerald flying on OW can access any available OW lounge.

If the lounge were run by CX or BA, I wouldn't even ask the question, but the one in DEL is run by (supremely) disinterested staff working for ITC Welcomgroup. I guess I should just be focusing my efforts on making sure I get my lounge pass from the CX agent when I check in. That is the critical item.

Thanks!

Just to let the OP know, if you haven't visited that lounge before, that it is not anything special except as a means to get away from the crowds donwstairs.

The mosquito quotient is high, the AC is weak, and the seats are pleather, so sets your sights accordingly.

I'm well aware--have been traveling through DEL for more than a decade and gotten my share of mosquito bites in that lounge! On all previous trips I've been traveling in J on BA, though--this is my first time braving the international terminal in DEL with only a Y ticket. Getting away from the crowds is paramount.
