I have yet to use Expedia.Having had great luck with Hotwire+Priceline NYOP,I thought their prices were way too high. But now with their BRG maybe. So anyone have advice?I see that some hotels have a caveat saying non-refundable despite Expedia stating their "no change fee, etc."Comments?

Expedia's just a big self-service travel agency. It's not an opaque system like Priceline, there's no guesswork about what you're getting, but you do have to read the fine print re: refundability. There are some "Expedia hotel deals" that are paid at time of booking and non-refundable, just like discount air tickets.

As with Priceline, most Expedia complaints stem from people not understanding what they're clicking on.

Expedia cannot be counted on to show you every option for a plane trip or hotel stay. Weigh it against Orbitz and Travelocity, the other two "big iron" online travel agencies.
