Hello,
I’m traveling in Switzerland for two weeks and want to have communication with local phones (hotels, friends etc’). I have some extra cellular with me.
Is it a good idea to buy local sim, where can I buy it (Zurich airport?) and how much it will cost me? Or maybe a local telecard is enough?

Thanks for your advice,
Yan

make sure you have any unlocked cell phone I carried a cell phone with me all the way through Europe and I thought it was unlocked but it was not.

So basically I carried it for nothing but it was very easy to find Sim cards in the train station or the airport

What is the minimum cost for a prepaid sim?Refer to the thread I mentioned above.

Typically, you pay around 20 francs for a pay-as-you-go SIM which includes 20 francs of credit, so if you use the credit the SIM is effectively free.

the easiest way is either take it to the tmobile store

or if you have att then put a tmobile sim in and see if it works or the other way around.
