Mexico - PVR First (business) Class from East Coast USA

Ok, so I've booked a week at the Number 2 rated resort in PV (AI) the third week of February 2010. Now I want to get there in First or Business class style. I recently used up my AA miles so I've only got about 3000 in the bank and I'm trying to keep the travel under $2000 for both of us. (that's $2K for two people) Anyone have any great ideas? We need to be there Saturday to Saturday but I'm willing to leave Friday with an overnight on our way there, or leave Saturday with an overnight on our way home. We Live near BDL (hartford/springfield) but are willing to travel to Providence or Boston for the best deal in order to make it happen. Best I've been able to find is about $1200/ticket. Any Suggestions?
