Some airlines always have a vegetarian selection on their menu in C. Otehrs require to order it as a special meal, which is usually bad and same as special meal in economy served on a plate.
Does SAA always have a vegetarian selection on their menu? Do they serve a main course after departure JNB-DKR and after DKR-JFK or just one?
Thanks for any info?

Yes, if you order the veg meal in C, you get what you already know. I've always been able to take a vegetarian option on this flight. Small portions, you might want to bring a granola bar, but usually tasty. They serve meals on both legs.

On May 1, 2009 Sout African began operating Non Stop between JFK and JNB.
