Since there is no KE-operated airport lounge, KE has to use CA lounge at Beijing. I am just wondering why KE does not use CZ lounge since CZ is one of the Skyteam member airline.
One cuirous question, if I am skyteam gold member and will fly KE flight out of Beijing. Can I use CZ lonuge at all?

There's no CZ loung at Beijing airport (at least as I know). The new terminal 3 is dominated by Air China and since Air China is * alliance, KE just has to squeeze themselves in with 30 some other airlines.
CZ's main hub is Guangdong area (Guangzhou and Shenzhen) hence they'd have their own lounges there.

AFAIK, Beijing is also one of the hub for CZ. There should be CZ lounge there. I will try CZ first class soon, I will find out. I can not believe if there is no CZ lounge in Beijing, where should the CZ business/first class passenger stay before boarding?

From what I recall, there's an old lounge at T3 that's shared by CZ, Aeroflot, KAL, and a bunch of other Skyteam and non-Skyteam airlines. It's pretty old and to spend time is not a pleasure. I went there twice and I recall seeing if I can use a CZ lounge but wasn't successful in finding one.
