Not sure if you have an internet capabile phone, but that works too - at least for WN and AA. Then when you get to the airport, you can "reprint" your BP using one of the many mult-airline kiosks. I use the ones either just inside the main doors or up the escalators - never the ones by the counters.

ah good point about using a phone :D too bad I don't have an internet capable one.. :( it probably does but charges a huge amount per kilobyte of data

though... might be cheaper than paying several dollars/min for internet usage at the casino

Got the mobile webpage for southwest:

http://mobile.southwest.com/p

:D

p.s. why is WN shorthand for southwest?

Don't know how trustworthy the list is, but they mention the lobby and casino at Palazzo/Venetian, Sugar & Ice inside Wynn, the Apple Store inside the Fashion Show Mall (across from Wynn) and the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf inside Planet Hollywood. Most everything else they list isn't really on the Strip.

The Sprint store inside the monorail station at the Convention Center has free wifi as well.

Great tip.

They don't, but they assign pax to the "earliest" boarding zone available as they check-n, resulting in early check-ins getting better seats.

+1

I only check in online, but always reprint when I get to the terminal.

A very easy process.

You can have the front desk clerk at the invited guest check in at the Venetian print boarding passes for you. I believe there is an actual kiosk in the Sands Convention Center but dont quote me on that.

Although probably too late for the OP, but the business center at NYNY is located right by the front desk. You don't really need a keycard to enter it as the past 2 times I've been there, it's been just unlocked and you can go right in. I found out about this when I was playing craps & a friend called with a "I need you online to do something for me right now" type of request and I just walked over the biz center & it was accessible. Not gonna guarantee it'll work every time - but I needed internet on the Strip about a month later & it was still open.

So I checked in via mobile at exactly 24 hours before my flight, and got A31-A34 :D

Is A1-15 for business travelers?

I LOST ALL MY MONEY at vegas :( :( :(

I actually won several hundred in the 1 hr timeframe arriving at the hotel and before checking-in. But seeing that this trip is the first time I was legal age to gamble, and the trip just began I couldn't just stop there.... :(

If it's any consolation, they really need it there.

And the lesson is maybe learned? My first gambling experience was on a college cross-country roadtrip in MSY - at the Harrah's - I played the Big Wheel. Won about $60 bucks - paid for the 2 nights I was staying at the Days Inn. About a week or so later, I was in Vegas on the roadtrip. My friend Joe & I were there for 3 days. We calculated it out - we jointly spent approximately $28 per hour in the city. The last night we were there, we didn't even go out - we just stayed at the hotel pool (at the Key Largo - which is now an abandoned/foreclosed building) and drank ourselves into a mess.

Now I'm a Vegas resident - I played a whole lotta craps when I got here. Now, not as much. Enjoy it, learn your lesson, and be responsible when playing. Winning is awesome - losing sucks.

Lessons learned indeed, especially to never ever play at a 6:5 payout blackjack table ever again (even though I had briefly read to avoid this no matter what), and to stick to basic strategy.. argh. It was hard to get up and walk away from the table because I kept wanting to try to recoup all my losses instead of minimizing it.
