Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan - Anyone else having problems booking same day fares on AS.com?

I'm trying to book a flight from LA to SEA tonight and while the AS site showed me 4 available fares 5 minutes ago, it is now saying that they were unable to complete my transaction. I got the same thing a few months ago when flying out of Spokane.

I imagine this is costing AS a pretty penny as most people would just move on and book something else.

Try booking on a 3rd party website. Oh wait...no bonus miles! Try clearing your cookies and book it again.

Wait...I'm having issues on AS.com now too. Won't even display flight options. I'm going to tweet AS and see if they are having issues.

Same! I'm trying to change my flight from SJC today and the AS site keeps crashing.

I just want to get a refund and fly out of OAK, but I can't even get available flights to show.

Got a tweet back...AS is looking into the problem...if there is one. I've noticed several websites have slow response times. Possibly a WWW issue? Qwest.com (servers located in Denver) is incerdibly slow as well.

There have been periodic DDoS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack) attacks on Google, Facebook and Twitter (http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/170444/developers_eager_to_see_twitter_improve_platform_s tability.html) recently. Maybe that's part of it?
