Does anyone know if you can pick your own car at LAX?

I'm spoiled at Logan where I can, but I'm headed to LA next week and just curious if it works the same there.

Yes you can. Alamo is downstairs, National is upstairs at the LAX facility. If you don't like the selection usually they're pretty good at letting you take from another category.
