Earlier this year, AirTran announced a BOB food program called SkyBites.

I have yet to see it on any flights. Has anyone had this option on a recent flight?
I wonder if this program fizzled out for some reason.
I have never seen it offered or even mentioned on an AirTran flight.

I think it used to be mentioned in the AirTran Go magazine, but I don't even see it there anymore.
I take that it wasn't successful :D

Hi,
For a moment when I saw the title I immediately thought of this;
http://www.fabfoods.co.uk/skybitesvariety.html
which we now get on British Airways domestic flights ( ie London- Edinburgh) outside of meal times .
The BA forum otherwise call the skybites, "Birdseed "as there are a large number of seseme seeds in them.:p
Regards
TBS
PS They are not that tasty!

Something's better than nothing - I'd have thought that FL flyers would jump on something like BoB. Definitely NOT a step forward.
If you upgrade to Business Class, there are plenty of decent snacks available to satisfy your appetite. If you're hungry, just ask, they are more than happy to accommodate. And Hoss, I'm not referring to liquid snacks.:D

Well, darn! I thought I could get my own personal bartender for the flight!
