I have been staying in the Fairmont Vancouver for some days now and I have slowly become aware that many (but not all) emails I have sent from here have failed to reach their destination.
The emails I send from here are routed by Fairmont's SMTP server torntsims03.hsia.fairmont.com ([142.131.15.59]) regardless of the mail server I select and it seems that a selection of my messages are being black-holed.
Why is this happening and how can I stop this happening?
Is this a general issue with Fairmont's Internet access? Will it affect me at The Empress as well?
Update; the problem has been resolved by by-passing Fairmont's firewall.
