JetBlue TrueBlue - Monday Flight- Thursday Night Standby Jet Blue

Does anyone think this is possible? I have a Monday morning flight from MCO to EWR on Jet Blue and want to see if I can con my way standby onto a Thursday night flight, 4 days early.

The phone rep at Jet Blue says no but wanted some opinions on what would happen if I showed up at the ticket counter this Thursday night. Am I dreaming or will I be on my way to NJ?

They would advise you of the same--standby is available only for the flight immediately prior or after. To fly on Thursday, you'll need to change the ticket.
