I am trying to get to Vegas from Baltimore and I need to do it as cheap as possible! The details are below:

1) When: November 12 5pm or later depart time - November 15 12pm depart time or later (getting me back on the 15th)

2) Why: Best friends birthday

I have searched high and low for the best airfare to get out there and I am only finding things for 375+. I would think there would be cheaper flights out there but I am not very versed in getting them. I already have a hotel I just need the flight out to Vegas. Please can anyone advise me on a way to do this if possible? I was hoping to keep the cost 250 or below. The cheaper the better since I am kinda on a budget now.

(This is sad since you don't go to Vegas on a budget but the main thing is I am there for the birthday)

You can consider waiting a little bit as the dates approach to see if there are any sales. November is usually a slow time in Vegas with exception of Thanksgiving week. Your return on Sunday is whats driving up the price of tickets, consider returning on Monday.

Hello.

I've been in the same boat that you're currently in numerous times, except I'm usually aiming for a departure out of IAD or DCA.

You may want to hold off buying the tickets until a little closer to your departure date. I can usually obtain a ticket between $280-320 RT (total price; including taxes). This price is usually obtained where there is one month to two weeks left until the departure date.

But, in the end, you should have no issue getting a cheap flight out of BWI. I always see low prices out of BWI (not just LAS, but in general), but it is too far of a drive for me.

One thing putting the price up is wanting to fly back on a Sunday night. Everyone wants to fly out on Sunday night. Move the date to Saturday or Monday and the price will drop. Also try looking at Southwest. They fly from BWI and have some nonstops to LAS.

Your biggest problem may be availability, not the fare structure. Coming out of LAS on Sunday afternoon/evening flights are almost always very heavily booked.
