Working fine for me on search just now. Price is coming up as €330 in Oct and Nov, but the rooms are coming up fine on certain dates.

FWIW the exact spelling on hotel.de is "Town House Galleria - Chateaux et Hotels Collection"

This one is another hotel of the same property, same address, same position, but one floor above the Townhouse Galleria. If I remember correctly the summer prices for the Townhouse 8 starts from 250 EUR per night.

Compliments, if is really the townhouse galleria you are lucky, is the best hotel in Milan and one of the best in the world!
Unfortunately I can't benefit of this offer, I live in Milan and for me 275 EUR would be a waste of money..... But in my opinion is also a good price if is the Townhouse 8, one floor above.

it's a large 63m2 junior suite I guess and at a great price...I have certianly paid more for rooms at the Westin and Diana Majestic...
heard some really good things about this hotel.

the strange thing is that the so called jr. suite is inferior in price (maybe better views?) than a normal suite; even a bit smaller. It seems, if you want a larger room, you can negotiate with them and may get an upgrade to a larger suite.

It's not an error fare but a promotion and if you check availability via the Chateaux & Hotel website you'll also get an overview over the lowest rates within a 3 month period which comes in quite handy.

Well, I did a quick search now, but could not find the initial deal anymore, neither on hotel.de, nor on the Chateaux & Hotel website. Well, for me at least, it seems that the deal is dead now :mad: I'm open to being convinced otherwise. :D

Hotel.de's reservations aren't immediate, apparently they get sent to the hotel first for review.
I recently booked another 'great' rate via hotel.de that showed up at $10 a night, normally $75+.. this morning (a week later) I get an email saying the hotel won't honor that rate and they offer the full rack rate... haven't responded yet to them.

That's right, but the Townhouse Hotel has confirmed the bookings after some minutes for everyone. Some hours after the deal was dead I asked them if they really honer the deal, and yes, they will do it.

When you deemed the deal 'dead'? Contact initiated by any of us will get it 'dead' for sure. FT rules say wait weeks/months, or never at all.

After it wasn't possible to book any room in this hotel and everybody in this and other boards confirmed that there is no chance to book any room for this price. Where can I find the rules you talked about it? And it wasn't possible for me to wait weeks, because my check in will be next week and I have to book a fly for this.

It's the unwritten rule of FT Deals. It appears on my signature (as well as others').
Waiting a little longer will not jepordize your deal, but may cause others to miss out on it. That's why we all ask NOT to call the hotel, airline, etc while the deal is still (or is likely to still be) active.

Thats ok, but what should somebody do that booked a room for the next week or a fly in the next days? Before he book another things (like hotel, fly, car, tours) he need a confirmation for his deal.

Deal is still alive; just checked 27.08.-28.08 next week on http://www.holidaycheck.de/hotel-Reiseangebote-Hotelangebot+Town+House+Galleria-ch_ra-hid_181938.html and I could get a double room for 300€. Suite is inferior in price: 450€. But still a good deal compared to 2,750+€ for that room! Both have breaky included and cancelations 2 days prior to arrival are free!
Maybe someone, who overslept the initial deal, can use this now...:D
