Finnair Plus - Is it only me?

Did a round trip CDG-HEL on AY (AF code share) Saturday to Sunday and was quite surprised how rude the Cabin Crew were amongst other little strange things :confused:

Most of the CC didn't smile once during the 2hrs 45min from CDG and the PAX was spoken to in a not very friendly manner, but more in a demanding and ordering way. Not very pleasant. :td:

Also, they (i.e CC) were not to be seen most of the flight. They were only visible during meal service, coffee/tea service and again rushing through the cabin with the tax-free sales cart. :td:

What I did like though was the A321. Felt spacious and bright but I did sit in 7D with 7E unoccupied and seemed like there was more leg room than further back the cabin. Maybe it was only my imagination, but never-the-less nice ^

Y was probably 75% full C only 2 people (6 rows reserved) so they couldn't have been over stressed...

This said, there is still something I like about Finnair... Can't put a finger on it though...

Hit and miss...I could have posted about my last AY shorthaul in the "reasons to love Finnair" thread. Knew the purser from past flights, this gent is one of the best AY cabin staff regarding experience and attitude.

It's worthwhile to give feedback regardless of the quality of the flight. I do know that management takes service issues very seriously.

You probably got the full Finnish treatment :)

In my mind there is a certain professionalism in most things they do.

I just wanted to report that I experienced nothing like OP during my JFK-HEL flight few days ago. Firstly, the new airbus 330 was shiny and smelled new! Very clean. CC consisted mostly of young beautiful girls, with smiley friendly attitude. Great service, great CC. I hope my SVO-JFK flight will be the same!^
