Was wondering if anyone had tried this little device. The search doesn't turn up any results.

I would, obviously, not expect stellar quality, but even for fun, I would want the prints to look at least halfway decent. Any experiences?

Thanks!

I have the Dell version (Dell Wasabi). The only person in my household impressed with it, is my 3 year old, because it prints little stickers.

Prints are slow, horribly expensive and look like hell. Spend you money on something else.

The Bluetooth in the printer only works on select phones (not the iPhone or anything running Android for example). Think of it as 95% toy, 5% tool.

I bought one last fall just for fun. The prints are about the size of a business card and cost about a buck each.

I was with a group of old friends for Saturday night dinner and brunch the next morning. We shot a group photo and after dinner I made a print for each person at the dinner and passed them out in the morning. Even though the prints aren't great, I've since been told that a couple of the people still have the shots in their wallets.

It connects through a cable to most digital cameras. And it connected to my Mac as easily as a Bluetooth headset. I think there's a new version with a camera as part of the printer. The idea was to recreate a Polaroid camera with new technology. Like I said, the prints aren't great, but they're no worse than the contrasty, off-color prints from an SX-70.

As I suspected. Ah, well.. it would have been great for portability, but I guess it's not meant to be.

Thanks for the replies!
