Hi -- last month a friend and I booked a one-way flight from MSY to PHL, connecting in ATL. The first leg departed around noon, and the connection got us to PHL around 6 p.m.
A couple weeks later, AirTran changed the time of the first leg about 90 minutes later, which would have led to a misconnect in ATL. They automatically rebooked us on later flights (4 pm departure, arrival in PHL around midnight.) We accepted the changes because there wasn't any better option.
I just learned that AirTran reverted the time of the original first leg, and it is again a viable option for us. Before I contact my TA, is it likely that we will be able to revert back to our original itinerary, or are we stuck with our later flights?
(To complicate matters, my friend and I booked separately -- I through a TA, he directly with AirTran...)
