LAN LANPASS - LAN is weighing and tagging all carry on luggage at SCL

Even from premium passengers (but the allowance is fairly decent, in weight). I haven't had this happen in ages. I don't know what they are doing on the national flight side.

As much as I love LAN for all their good things.... some of their actions make me laugh...

Just flew last week SCL-IPC (Easter Island) and there was no weighing of carry-on bags. Many people had large back packs too.

I bought preferred coach seating for my flight from GRU to SCL and they are weighing carryons at GRU at the LAN counter. I got a pass by pointing out that I had paid more for my ticket, I don't know if that was policy or accomodating me.

They are placing hand luggage tags with the weight written on the tag.

No weighing of transit PAX 1.5 weeks ago, my bag was at least 11kg

Any recent experiences with flights out of the SCL domestic terminal?

They do that to me from time to time at LIM and MIA
