Asiana Club - Flight wholly within Korea, any way to get Seat Assignments?

So I'm getting the "Please check your membership details with your local office" message (or something similar) when I attempt to get seat assignments on OZ's website for a BUS-ICN flight in a few weeks (booked off Expedia using TY points).

A call to the call center stated that because their system in the US isn't connected with the one's in Korea, they can't assign seat assignments.

Any tricks to getting seat assignments in advance? Will it require a call to the Korean Asiana offices? (And do they speak English?).

Thanks.

Yes, they can speak English at the call center in Korea. Just give them a call and they should be able to sort you out. Remember to try to speak slowly and use simple words as that works best in communicating with someone who speaks English as a second language and who likely isn't used to dealing with many foreigners on a regular basis.

Thanks. Gave the wrong country a call (called Japan first) but after calling the Seoul number, they were able to take care of it and added the bmi and UA numbers of the reservation. ^
