El Al Matmid - Why so many delays this evening at TLV?

I was checking TLV timetable departure, and almost every flight is delayed.
Does someone know why?

I did not see the departure board last evening but let me guess - most of the delayed flights were charters, especially Turkish ones - right?

this morning, my flight LY323 had also an hour delay due to technical problems

Its enough the turkish one delay and the whole airport will be jammed,
with 39 landings and 41 departures... 8-)

(But on the other side, i tend to blame the french ones.. (due to good habits))

this afternoon, too, there are lots of delays; LH flight to FRA has for example a 2 hour delay

Its all a big plot to get people to spend more money at the Duty Free... ;)

The plane was 2.5 hours late coming in, no wonder why it had a 2 hour delay leaving ... :)

I guess one could fly over Lebanon instead... ;)

Seriously though, I think bypassing Cyprus is a bit of a de tour but someone else might correct me if I'm wrong?
