Four of us are popping over to Moscow next weekend for the MAKS airshow.

Between a couple of hours of sightseeing and catching our flight at 18:30, I'd like to have brunch. I have heard good reports about those on offer at Baltschug Kempinski and the Marriott Grand.

Any advice/opinions/details or other suggestions would be appreciated.

Not what quite what you're looking for, but the post-clubbing crowd and later the expat-families-with-children crowd can often be found on Sundays at one of the Starlite Diners (metro Mayakovskaya location used to be most popular). Great for people watching and eavesdropping... http://www.starlite.ru/index2.html

Park Hyatt or the terrace at Scandinavia if it's a nice day

If it's in your budget, then O2 atop the Ritz hotel has incredible views of the city and freeflowing champagne. Be sure to make a reservation, though, especially when it's cold because the outdoor area may be out of service.

The hotel itself is just a stone's throw from the Red Square.
