Anybody stay at this hotel? Seems like a new, lower cost hotel from the folks at the Harbor Plaza. How's its location compared to the Harbor Plaza? I'm thinking about making a stop in HK on the way to Shanghai and United has a vacation deal for these two hotels.
Thanks!

Never stay there, and I don't think anyone have yet unless you are talking about service apartment, since their grand opening is Oct 14th 2009 ;).

Looking at their website, it is near the old Kai Tak airport. To be honest, I don't think it is a good location. The best way to get there probably take the Airport Express to Kowloon station and cab it over there.

Seems the price is ok and brand new, also they offers free shuttle bus, no harm to try. ^

I happened to pass by the other day. It ain't gonna open 'ilt mid October.

It can be done via A22, but you'll get lost. It's 4 blocks and 3 main streets away from the nearest A22 stop. It's actually To Kwa Wan which is a pleasently innocuously run down part of town.

Don't ask me why I was there.

That's funny, I was thinking about doing a United Vacation, they have a package deal with either the Harbor plaza or the Harbor plaza 8 degrees. I guess I know which hotel I'll pick now!

I think u can take the hotel's free shuttle bus svc to/from AEL Kowloon Station, then AEL direct to/from airport, quite convenient, definitely NO need to take A22 bus, and walk so many blocks away with your luggage. u may reconsider...
