Hi, a long time surfer here - it's always my first stop when I'm traveling. Anyway, I was wondering does anyone have advice about renting a car in Antigua? Best? Ones to avoid? That sort of thing.
I have looked at a few of the big boys - Hertz, Avis, etc. - and some of the local Antiguan car rental agencies, but I have not been overly impressed as 90% say there are no cars available for the time I'm going, Aug 24th-Sept 06 '09. I can't believe that every car, all classes are booked and I'm sure a phone call would sort that out. But before that, I would appreciate the advice of anyone with knowledge of renting there.
So, please, any advice or suggestions?
