Like mother, like daughter - I did the 40 Hour Famine for many years when I was younger :p.
With the support of her school, Mini Downunder girl is doing the World Vision 40 HOUR FAMINE on the weekend of 21st August.

Sponsorship can be done online and you will receive a receipt for taxation purposes. All donations over $2 are tax deductable.

I cant believe how fast its growing. Of course I have been using some social networking to get the word out :p. When I used to do the 40 Hour Famine (the starving version was the only option), I think I would have been lucky to raise $30 back then :o

Yes I used to do the full 40 hours of starving too. I do remember hanging out for mum's Sunday roast lunch after those 40 hrs :D.

The goal may be in AUD, but after currency conversion fees, the AUD is just about on par with the USD! Good for you, but :eek: for us! ;)

Is everyone using the link I am supplying in PM?

Just a bit concerning that we have not seen any further donations added to Mini DG's page since the 15th August, however quite a few people have asked for the link since then :confused:.

Perhaps people have accidently swiped out Mini DG's code when they go to the DONATION page and it just goes into the general pool?
