Non-NonRev

Hello,
I will be flying on AY, in Y, from OSL to HEL next month.
Will my OW Emerald status allow me to use a lounge in OSL (and also in HEL for the return flight)?
Thank you as always for your assistance.

Non-NonRev, as an OW Emerald you will have your choice of lounges. In Oslo I guess BA Terraces lounge will be your best bet, in Helsinki SilverWings has a nice view over airport.
Hope you'll enjoy AY!

There's no BA Terraces lounge at OSL anymore (which a lot of Norwegians surely miss as it was located in the domestic part and thus accessible to pax on Norwegian domestic flights with enough BA status). AY, BA and many other airlines use the OSL-lounge next to the two SAS lounges above the main duty free area. It's a pleasant enough lounge with the usual offerings of cold nibbles, beer, wine, soft drinks etc.

Lounge access at HEL isn't a problem for OW Emeralds since AY has lounges there (on the non-Schengen side for non-Schengen arriving/departing passengers and on the Schengen side too) that are available to OW Sapphires/Emeralds flying out on a OW operated flight.

Do AY and BA coach passengers with OW Sapphire/Emerald status get access to that contracted lounge at OSL? [CO uses that same contracted lounge for CO business class passengers but refuses to allow CO-flying SkyTeam ElitePlus members in there if they are flying coach -- but that's not to draw a parallel since CO and DL have a history of being notorious in denying access to contract lounges that other SkyTeam airlines use even for CO and DL elites with SkyTeam ElitePlus status.]
