I am considering booking an itinerary from DCA to ABQ, but the published connection time in DEN is only 27 minutes - F9 721 arrives at 10:56 am and
F9 337 departs at 11:23 am.

This seems to set up a high likelihood for a missed connection. Does anyone have experience with this particular connection or in general whether this is an adequate amount of time?

All Frontier flights operate on the A concourse, so connections are easy and quick.

It doesn't allow too much extra time for weather and MX delays, were they to occur, but it is plenty of time to get between the gates. 10-15 minutes is all it will take, if you walk slowly and stop on every moving walkway. A decent pace will definitely get you there in 10 minutes or less.

Frontier is one of the best airlines for connections. You can get from one end of A concourse to the other in less than 10 minutes. Usually it's less than 5 minutes from one gate to the other.

First time on Frontier last week and had a late landing due to heavy fog in Denver, hurried to our connecting flight at other end of concourse (and downstairs) in about 15 min. just to realize connection was late coming in for same reason (duh)! You won't have to go downstairs, that's only for lynx connections.

I liked Frontier & would fly with them again (if they don't turn into southwest), but Lynx had much more friendly & professionally groomed crews.
