Hotel Deals - [EXPIRED] SYD Hotels from AU$44 per night (min 2 nights)

Noticed the following sale on at the moment - http://australia.hotels.com/hotel-deals/sydney-au - some great rates there - the Travelodge isn't anything special, but for AU$44 per night it certainly beats sleeping in a backpackers :).

The Sheraton on the Park pricing is also available on SPG for those collecting points (just make sure to make two night weekend bookings to get the rate to come up). From AU$125 per night it's definitely the cheapest I've ever seen it anyway.

Availability varies per hotel, most have dates available until the end of the year, a couple into next year as well.

The Marriott on Hyde Park can be gotten on Priceline for a $76/nt US bid most dates prior to the Xmas holidays. I got it for 5 nights in mid-October at that price.

Anyone found dates for Sheraton on the Park for $125 a night? All the weekends I've tried it's pricing at $158 or higher per night (for 2 night stays).

I'd recommend Vibe Hotel for inexpensive but modern & comfortable. Close to the action too.

Also the Vibe North Sydney (Milson's Point), great outlook, directly at the rail station and permanently on special at Expedia au around AUD100 (USD84)

I saw AUD 150 for dates in November (I think around the 22 or 23 for three nights). I ended up booking AUD 160 for Nov 27-29. I figured I'd lock in my rate at this good price before the USD tanks even further. :(

Well the hotels.com sale seems to be over, but the Sheraton on the Park is pricing at AUD$157 a night direct through spg.com (I've just looked at dates in September). Great price for this hotel ^

just stayed at Vibe CBD near Central/Museum for AUD$75 with the 20GBP coupon, excellent hotel! Really enjoyed it, cheaper and better located than the North Sydney location!
