Miles & More (Lufthansa, Austrian, Swiss, and other partners) - Lufthansa upgrade to business

My wife and I have booked with LH MAN-MUC rtn in September, Econ Basic (T) out and (E) back. Does anyone know if I can use BMI Diamond Club miles to upgrade to Business, please? Other question: would it be worth it, given that Business/Club Class in Europe is generally nothing to write home about. Have searched the LH site re upgrades but can find nothing!

You can only upgrade using M&M points or using the star alliance upgrade (offered by some FFPs, but not bmi DC). This upgrade usually excludes the low low booking classes like L,T,E on short haul and W,S, U on long haul.

Sorry for the bad news. C on short haul is nothing special anyway, so your sour grapes are justified. :)

You can't use DC miles for upgrades. In addition T and E fares are not upgradable in any case.

You get nicer meals in Business but it's not really worth paying or spending miles to upgrade on such a short route.
