1. How do I get miles on a partner credited to my UA FFP? Seroiusly though, I go on to lh.com, it says enter your M&M ...? I know you can flash you card at the check in person but then I can't check in online.

2. UA premier - international business check in right? But it doesn't say that on *A silver page.

Welcome to FT and the *A forum, LH_a380! I am not exactly sure what your situation is. Do you have a ticket, want to buy a ticket etc?

In any case,

you can always call LH,
show you card at the gate, check-in or lounge
give the number to your TA
enter the number during booking on LH.com (you have to select the option to proceed without registration and then you can enter your UA number).

As DownUnderFlyer pointed out, if you can't enter your MP number when booking the ticket, you can simply call LH.

You can use a dedicated check-in counter (which may or may not coincide with int'l business check-in) only when flying United. Priority check-in is not a *silver benefit, as you noted :(

Only with united? Then that maybe I will switch to another *A airline. Learning pains :), just started recently got about 2k miles. Chose UA because I live and the main office is in DEN, but I usually hub at EWR/JFK (international flight) the satellite office is in that area as well. I'll compare OnePass and M&M and switch.

Thank you both by the way. :D

While premium check-in is nice, few people would consider it the main factor in choosing a FF program.

Besides, this is not unique to United. Since Lufthansa is in *A and Continental will be soon, you'll experience exactly the same problem. For example, If you're FTL in M&M (*A silver, equivalent to premier on United), then you'll be able to use the business check-in only when flying Lufthansa.

You need to reach *A Gold in order to have priority check-in across the alliance. Perhaps you should look at programs with easy *A Gold qualification, such as Air Canada, Turkish or Asiana.

Obviously premium check is not the most important factor, but it is more important to me because I fly to developing countries(mideast, asia) where the facilities (computers/printers) aren't always great so I check in at the airport quite frequently where the economy check in lines are usually unbelievably long.

BTW M&M is not just LH, it's LOT and OS and LX and a couple of others :).

Thanks for the TK tip also, 40k for *G I will take it into consideration.
