I calculated all my remaining trips for 2009 and I will be short 7k miles for Gold. What is the best way to find the cheapest $/mile for me to make mileage runs?

BLI-Flyer Aug 2, 09, 2:24 pm I'd guess Seattle: Location: Seattle area Check web specials at http://www.alaskaair.com/as/alaska/WebSpecials/WebSpecials.aspx, you can usually find something out of Seattle. SEA-PDX, SEA-BOI, and SEA-GEG are often on sale, and you can easily do three round trips on a Saturday to rack up miles. SEA-AUS SEA-IAH SEA-ATL COpltASgldPHX Aug 2, 09, 6:22 pm Will you be short 7K AS miles or 7K AS+partner miles? There are some good deals on DL in Sep./Oct. but if you need 12K partner miles it might not be that economical and time consuming. DL also has "UP" fares that book into A and give you 150% EQM's on AS. ANC Aug 2, 09, 8:29 pm I calculated all my remaining trips for 2009 and I will be short 7k miles for Gold. So I'll be on the lookout for some cheap runs from PDX to get EQMs. Last year I did PDX-HNL-KOA for a mini vacation / mileage run... NWA had some great deals to HNL... hopefully they'll put up a few of those and I can get a couple of those runs added to my tally for the year. If anyone else has ideas for PDX... I'd love to hear. CDKing Aug 3, 09, 3:52 pm So I'll be on the lookout for some cheap runs from PDX to get EQMs. . Keep on the lookout for PDX-BOS-PDX. Maybe there will be some good sales for the winter since no one comes to Boston then. You can get 5000mi in one day. For the first time in 7 years I wont make gold unless there is one that makes sense like the springtime - when business was so bad I couldnt afford to travel had to stay in PDX and work here. If so then when would they most likely announce it ? I'll hop on that PDX/BOS/PDX and get my 12k miles Duckouttahere Aug 20, 09, 9:02 am I don't think Alaska is going to offer DEQMs again. Number 1, other carriers aren't offering them now and Alaska only offered them last May when the other carriers had already started offering. Number 2, I don't think Alaska wants to swell the ranks of MVPs and MVPG's as to not tick off those that are actually flying the number of miles required. beckoa Aug 20, 09, 12:50 pm Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry9000/4.6.0.167 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/102) I don't think Alaska is going to offer DEQMs again.
