I'm looking at flying YYJ-SEA/SEA-SFO-KOA in late October. The YYJ-SEA leg is likely to be on AS, with the balance on UA. We don't do pre-clearance in YYJ, so I'll need to clear customs and re-check bags on arrival in Seattle. The schedule that I'm looking at shows a ~1:55 connection time at SEA. Having flown through SEA exactly once before, I'm unfamiliar with the airport -- is this going to be enough time to get through the CBP/UA/TSA obstacle course?

Thanks!

Unless you are arriving at a peak time and get very unlucky I don't think you'll have a problem, the airport just isn't that big and there's a dedicated TSA checkpoint for international arrivals.

I cleared SEA customs in 5 minutes yesterday coming down from Victoria on Horizon (1215 arrival).

As long as your arrival into SEA doesn't coincide with a large a/c international arrival, you should be o.k. Clear U.S. entry at S satellite, recheck bags (if any), proceed through security, tram to main terminal, tram to C/D concourse side of airport, tram to N satellite for UA.

Fabulous. Thanks all for the input.
