Korean Air Skypass - Hilarious new policy on the 77W F "Cosmo-Suites"

According to the KE website (http://kr.koreanair.com/KALMain/EtcAsp/news/200907/kosmo/kosmo.html):

1. You will earn 200% of actual miles flown when booked in R class (the F cabin booking class on the 77W)

2. You cannot upgrade to, or redeem miles for a reward ticket on the F suites on 77W, subject to two exceptions as below.

3. Skypass Million Milers can redeem miles for a reward ticket and upgrade to the F suites on 77W.

4. Skypass Morning Calm Premium members can upgrade to the F suites on 77W, but cannot redeem miles for a reward ticket.


They have clearly lost the plot.

Personally speaking, I think this is somewhat of an copy-cat on SQ. Skypass policies have been taking the strange pattern of following the other airlines' "trends" on the policy, such as Expiration dates on mileage points.

The worst thing is, the new Kosmo-Suite doesn't even look that great.

At least the SQ Suites was something worth shouting about... for a bit, anyway.

I actually like it, although it does appear to be very similar to 9W's Suite.
