U.K. and Ireland - Buying a new rollaboard / cabin bag in London

I'm a big fan of Mandarina Duck. I've had an MD rollaboard for some years and it's getting a bit tatty. Worse, on a recent trip abroad, a friend's geriatric cat voided her bladder in it (right on a pile of receipts - I wouldn't want to be my accountant this quarter) and I've learned that there is only so much that bleach and Febreze can do.

Have to go away in the next couple of days and want to replace it. I should have done this sooner and got it from them online. There's even 20% off at the moment.

Irritatingly, their Conduit Street shop has very little stock and little idea of when they'll get deliveries or what those deliveries may be.

Harvey Nicks is running the promotion, but don't have the case in question.

Harrods don't have it. J Lew and P Jo (John Lewis and Peter Jones) are also no help. Selfridges do have it, but at full price.

I've run out of ideas for places that might sell the bag I'm after. Can anyone else think of a likely candidate. Perhaps in The City, an area of town outside of my sphere of competence.

The MD website seems to list other London suppliers in London (Indish, Isokon, Harrods, Places and Spaces, Shoon, Conran, Fenwick, Aria, Liberty). House of Fraser might be worth a punt? Although I think you should get one of these (http://www.londonluggage.co.uk/Product.aspx?CategoryID=-1&ProductID=1064) and I reckon you could pick one up in Westfield.

I was surprised to find a reasonably good range at Fortnam's and Masons (I think it was - can't figure out where else it might be). I've had the same problem as you before - their Conduit street has an ok range, but other places only have a few pieces from each collection.

I had to get both my work carry-on and alpha duck briefcase from the website.

Leaving earlier than planned, so I went to Selfridges and sucked up the full price. Oh well. The last one was had at a crazy discount at their shop in Rome. Swings. Roundabouts. Thanks for the advice.

Slightly OT, but I was in Selfs on Friday and they had a beautiful Dunhill rollaboard (what a horrible word!) reduced from £770 to £385. It was the spitting image of the £1k Louis Vuitton, Zegna and Loro Piana rollaboards. I nearly bought it, which tells you how lovely it looked since I HATE rollaboards with a passion (I'm a holdall man, too tall to drag a rollaboard!) and have NEVER used Ms Raffles' one even though its been in the house for years.

Of course, the Selfs sale is now over so it may have gone back to full price. This is in the Dunhill concession in Menswear (opp Ralph Lauren), it was tucked under the cufflink cases.
