Which date is your flight? They are switching to a different configuration in the coming months when they upgrade the J seats to the Shell seats.

We won't be flying till the new year.

I emailed JAL and they were kind enough to reply that the economy class is closest to config #4 on seatguru. However they advise that the business/first class are closer to another config.

A random search on 1/28 (outbound) and 2/2 (inbound) shows L12 (http://www.jal.co.jp/en/aircraft/conf/744.html) config, which means row 1-3 are skysleepers (oldest F seats) :D

We now have our tickets booked. (april 1/2010) & (May 7th/2010) and have noticed another issue for lack of better term?

We are ticketed with Aeromexico but it says the flight is operated by JAL. When I compare the times on the ticket.. to those on JAL sites they are different. I'm under the impression I should trust JAL's times vs. Aeromexico since it's their flights?

DEP YVR 1150 vs 1030
ARR YVR 1220 vs 1330
