First off -- thanks to all the posters on this forum. As a first time traveler to Las Vegas, I really appreciate all of the great information available here.
1st a Q on the Wynn's "third night free code": I put in the code (which is only supposed to be for Wynn Resort room, with an upgrade to the Encore "upon request and subject to availability." I booked a king suite at the Encore, because the reservation system allowed me to do so. Does this mean that I definitely received the upgrade (as I put in my "request" at the time of booking, and the Encore room was still available), or is it possible I won't get the benefit of the deal (3rd night free, $50 resort credit) because my original booking wasn't for the Wynn?
One more question: Has anyone tried to upgrade to a panoramic view while using the Wynn/Encore's "third night free" code? I'm traveling with my fiancee to Vegas for the first (and probably last) time, and would like to make it as special as possible. However, the only reason this trip is possible for us (money-wise) is the deal where we are supposed to be getting the third night free/resort credit. I was planning on seeing if I could get an upgrade to a high floor panoramic view, and was wondering if anyone had tried this with any success -- that is, getting the upgrade while still getting the benefits of the promo code.
