We have a 3-YO (just turned 3) that we will be taking to Sea World - San Diego. We are wondering if we can do Sea World in a day or should we plan two days at Sea World? He is under 42 inches so he won't be able to do the three of the rides. Please advise. Thanks.

I don't think you need more than a day for SeaWorld.

One day is sufficient.

If I were accompanying a 3-year old, I'd vote for one day - that should be more than enough time.

No more than 1 day needed.

Anyone know the hours SeaWorld San Diego is open in mid-Feb? I checked the website and hours were not posted for 2010 yet.
I am assuming it is open year round?

One day is more than enough--my 4yo son was actually bored because he saw the rides in the brochure but he couldn't ride them.

Open year round and last winter I believe it was 10 am-5 pm with gates closing at 4. By 5 it will be getting dark and next to the bay a little chilly so you will be ready to go by 5. 10-5 is plenty of time to catch the shows and see the major aquariums and exhibits.

I'd say 1/2 day with a three year old. Several naps would probably be needed for an entire day trip there, and after the Shamu exhibit, he'd probably get bored, unless he is a fledgling marine biologist. :)
